‘Walk away from Violence’
One kick paired with another kiss,
One slap and another pat on the head,
Violence can never be an answer,
for all the unasked questions.
Torture is a torture, even
if it’s ended with a kiss.
Pain is just that, Pain,
even if it’s topped with love.
Knowing that you’re his punching bag
is not going to solve the problems.
knowing that it will never end
is not going to heal the wounds.
Safety of the marriage should never
Put you inside the well of misery.
The ties of love should never
Become the bondage of slavery.
Walk and never turn back,
and Know that you’ll be safe,
Secure and painless, far and
faraway, even if its without love.
Know, you’re better off alone.
