‘Will You Mourn?’
Death must one day come to smite,
To end every life; it’s what fate swears,
I do try, struggle to stand back and fight,
But if I did die, will you truly shed tears?
When darkness surrounds me from the inside,
I search for hope; search for your lost fingers,
I run away From the Scythe and to safely hide,
But if I did die, will you truly shed tears?
You walked away; the only time did I seek,
Left me alone; I did cry, but no one hears,
Now I’m alone, powerless to brawl and weak,
But if I did die, will you truly shed tears?
The next of my sunrise, I may miss,
My agony being cut out by the shears,
I’ll pace towards my God, perhaps in bliss,
But if I did die, will you truly shed tears?
Death must one day come to smite,
And if I did die, will you truly shed tears?
